About Saint-Tropez
Facing the Mediterranean Sea, Saint-Tropez in the south of France was once a rustic fishing village. It was actress Brigitte Bardot’s visit that transformed the village into “a resort town for the rich and famous,” where millionaires and celebrities spend their vacations.

The team of the movie use to eat in a very small family restaurant on the Beach which become later the very Famous Club 55.
In June, 1964, Austrian-American fashion designer Rudi Gernreich introduced a topless swimsuit called the monokini that generated a great deal of controversy in the United States and internationally. Topless sunbathing is now the norm for both men and women from Pampelonne beaches. Tahiti Beach is the oldest beach restaurant of Pampelone created in 1934.
In 1963 Paul Tomaselli created "La Voile Rouge" with his mother in the kitchen. It was a hotbed of "excessiveness" from the 60s till 2011. Same year also opened « Le Bar Du Port », a must for Tropézian mornings but also nights.
